Gavin is a junior majoring in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence as well as minoring in English. He has lived all around the United States but currently resides in Yorktown, Virginia. His favorite genres of books are sci-fi, fantasy, and contemporary fiction books and a fun fact about him is that he enjoys archery, writing, and drawing. As the president, Gavin works to run the major logistics of the club and work with other board members to keep the club running.

Allison is a junior majoring in Digital Criminology. Her primary responsibilities include helping with club communication, preparing announcements, collaborating with other clubs, and working with the President. She grew up in Saline, Michigan and loves to play board games, spend time with her loved ones, and hike in her free time. Her favorite genre changes with the seasons, but right now she enjoys reading fantasy and thrillers.

Saheli is from Dyer, Indiana. She is a senior majoring in Social Studies Education with minors in Global Studies, History, and Political Science. As Communications Officer, she manages the Communications Committee, as well as updating the website and social media platforms. She loves to travel, spend time with her family/friends and read in her free time. Her favorite kinds of books to read are fantasy and romance.

Addison is a sophomore majoring in biochemistry major and minor in Spanish, Addy enjoys hanging out with friends and traveling to other countries, and is from Noblesville, Indiana and swam for 8 years. Her favorite genre is romance. As the treasurer, Addison works to manage the finances of the club.

Alexandra is a senior majoring in Environmental and Ecological Engineering with a minor in Spanish. As secretary, her major roles involve organizing spaces for club events, submitting proposals, and managing Boilerlink. Alexandra grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois and in her free time she likes to knit. Her favorite genre to read is fantasy romance.

Isabelle is a sophomore double majoring in political science and communication. She is from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Isabelle’s role on the communications committee is the Instagram manager, so she posts graphics made by our graphic design team, makes stories, and answers DMs. In her free time, Isabelle likes to sing, craft, and read. Her favorite genres are romance, realistic fiction, and fantasy.

This is Mae, she is double majoring in microbiology and studio art. She is from Cleveland, OH. Mae’s role on the communications committee is graphic design, she helps create the posters, flyers, etc. that spread the word on BBC events. Outside of reading Mae loves writing and playing music, anything outdoors, lifting weights/long distance running, and making art/crafts. Her favorite genre is historical fiction!

Julie is a freshman majoring in biochemistry. She is from a small town outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Julie’s role in the communications committee is graphic design, so she helps create flyers and announcements that are displayed on the website and social media. Outside of that, Julie enjoys playing the violin, running, hanging with her dog, and of course, reading. Her favorite genres are romance and mystery/thriller.

Trisha is a junior majoring in Business Analytics & Information Management. She is from Seattle, WA. Trisha’s role on the communications committee is website management, she helps routinely update the website with all events, meeting information, and updates for the club! Outside of that, Trisha loves writing, art, baking, and anything creative. Her favorite genres are mystery, dystopian, and fantasy!

Janice is a freshman majoring in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is from Long Island, New York. Janice’s role on the communications committee is website management, keeping members informed about new announcements and showcasing the books the club reads. Outside of the boiler book club, Janice enjoys painting, going to art museums, watching Formula 1, and photography. Her favorite genres are fantasy and romance!

Demi is a sophomore studying aerospace engineering. He is from Nigeria. He is helping with the boiler library. He likes dystopia novels and classics.

Harini is a junior majoring in Computer Science. She is from the Bay Area in California. She is one of the programmers working on the digital library. In her free time Harini enjoys artwork (mostly digital), reading, and photography. Her favorite genres are fantasy, mystery, and historical fiction.

Kiley is a sophomore at Purdue University double majoring in Professional Writing and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. She is from Fishers, Indiana and is a part of the committee’s outreach branch. She distributes printed flyers across campus and photographs club meetings. Outside of academics, Kiley enjoys reading, writing, going down historical rabbit holes, and working at her job back home. Her favorite genres are nonfiction, literary fiction, and classics.

Anna is a sophomore majoring in mathematics. She is from Auburn, Indiana (a small town just north of Fort Wayne). Her position as part of the outreach team is to put up flyers throughout campus and take photos at events. During her free time, she plays intramural soccer and basketball, goes to juggling club, and reads! Her favorite genres are young adult mystery, romance, and dystopian fiction.
