A Discussion with Pierce Brown

On Febrary 1st from 4:00-5:00pm, we will be hosting a Q&A with visiting author Pierce Brown. Members will be able to submit questions prior to the event, and our President, Kai , will ask Pierce Brown them throughout the hour. Anybody is welcome to join!

Free Books

We will begin distributing free copies of the Red Rising Series at 3:30 on February 1st in STEW 320. These are available to anyone at Purdue.

Who is Pierce Brown?

Pierce Brown #1 New York Times Bestselling author of the Red Rising Saga.

From listening to his grandfather’s absurd tales as a young boy all the way to the end of high school, Brown never thought he could be an author. After he graduated high school and wrote the first chapter of a novel “containing as much literary merit as a bag of Hot Cheetos”, he discovered his passion for writing and the fervor began.

From multiple unsucessful novels, he picked up Antigone and one fateful night in the mountains and a glimpse up at Mars sealed the deal. Two months later Red Rising was created. The series conitnues with the second set of novels waiting for their fourth and final book.

Now with comics, novels, and even a board game, Brown continues to develop the Red Rising universe and encourages people that we are as big as we make ourselves and are not simply cogs in the machine.
