Summer Bingo Event
We are excited to announce our third Summer Bingo Challenge in addition to our summer books!
The Summer Bingo Challenge is a bingo game that can be completed with the books you read over the summer and also serves as a challenge to branch out and read new genres. Membership to play is not required, and the game will be hosted on our Discord. If you have not already, email boilerbc@purdue.edu or dm us on our Instagram @boilerbookclub to join our Discord! Qualifying books must be read between May 17th and our August callout to be valid towards the bingo.
The rules are simple! First, use the provided link to sign in to your Discord, click “authorize,” and your bingo card will then be linked to our server. Note that although you can see all the bingo squares on a phone layout, the full grid can only be viewed on your desktop. Books for each category are suggested should you need an idea, but you can read any book that fits the criteria! To claim a spot, click “submit,” enter the book’s title and author, and click “submit” again.

To claim a bingo, complete one row, column, or diagonal and win a prize! Each book read is able to qualify for two different bingo spots. Prizes for each bingo will be distributed once we return to school next semester. For an extra exciting prize, complete a blackout and fill every bingo square! Everybody participating is able to claim a regular bingo prize, but to claim a blackout prize, you must be a member after our callout in August.
